Mountain of Love are headlining Love & Unity at Ramsgate Music Hall on the 12th February.
We’ve heard some great reports about The Ramasgate Music Hall and are looking forward to playing there.
Here’s some info about Love & Unity
“Love & Unity is an evening of music with the aim of raising funds for Labour’s fight against Ukip in Thanet South will take place at Ramsgate Music Hall on Thursday, February 12 from 7.30pm until 12.30am.
Thanet Trade Union Action present Love And Unity, a contemporary take on a working man’s club variety show, bringing together a mix of bands, artists, DJs and performers.
Headlining act is Mountain of Love. Their sound is a heavy, dubbed up, joyous mix of psychedelic electronic funk, old school techno, and the blues with some swampy deep soul thrown into the mix.
Also on stage will be Rhythms Of The City, performing authentic carnival samba and also a fusion of salsa, soca, reggae, funk and hip-hop.
Folk singer Danni Nichols brings smoky soul, folk and Americana while protest poet Bryan Beady Man Wilson performs poetry and rap.
Other acts are Prince Bayo performing reggae, singer-song writer Robb Johnson, soul and house DJ Derrick Patterson and Soho drag queen Trixie Belair
The event will be compered by Ms Polly Cup-Cake.
For details, and to book, call Kaz Peet on 07918 657992 or Karen Constantine on 07984 532212.”
