Facebook Review from Racket Ear Jim, Birmingham Autumn 2013

Had a great night on Saturday at a gig by Mountain of Love listen to (or buy) their début album on the link above if you please. It’s been years since I went out dancing. I haven’t felt like that far transported since the heady times of psychedelic trance.

Their dubtronica is strong, heady, uplifting, body and head-moving and in turn, somewhere between. Smile inducing and thoughtful, it cooks the biscuits with an array of vibes from authentic country, dubby bass with some deft violins, big beat, swinging electronica, orb-like exploration and rolling beats.

The combination has you sweeping across the sierra on a herd of cyborg horses…
